From the tour
Let's check out this modern architectural home in the Hancock Park neighborhood of Los Angeles. Currently listed for $3,490,000, this home features five bedrooms, five bathrooms, 2,886 square feet, and a detached ADU. This is basically like a brand new construction house. Almost everything you see here is new, as I think only one or two walls remain from the original structure that was built in 1924. I really love all the organic tones and materials that this home used, it feels timeless. And when you're in Hancock Park specifically, that's really what the neighborhood is known for. Timeless, high quality homes. The floor plan here was extremely well thought out. Every room feels spacious, it's got high ceilings, tons of natural light pouring in, and an indoor outdoor feel. The first floor is complete with the grand entrance, a dining area, a kitchen, a living room, multiple skylights, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms. All of the finishes have been carefully curated. A lot of these modern homes are not always done right, but the design here was spectacular. And if you're someone who prefers a more modern vibe, this is the type of finishes that you want. Upstairs is home to two bedrooms, each with their own ensuite bathroom. I love that shower moment. This would be the primary, but the other ensuite up here is just as good. As great as the house is, what makes it even better is that it's in the right location. Hancock Park is known for its walkability, family-friendly vibe, and it's very central. It's definitely one of the best neighborhoods in LA, so just know that you're getting an A plus house in an A plus location. The home sits on just under a 5000 square foot lot. It's not huge, but all of it is usable. There's no wasted space. This is the ADU, it's done just as well as the main house. It's got its own kitchenette, a lofted sleeping area, laundry hookups, and a full bathroom.
