From the tour
Would you live in a one bedroom home if it looked like this? A 1940s mid-century post-in-beam in Beechwood Canyon with unmistakable character, great views, and a detached office that's worthy of a feature in architectural digest. Let's sit at $1,200,000 where at $25,13, Verbena Drive, this one is a one bed, one bath on 749 square feet of living space and that does not include the detached office that will find beneath the home. Now, the property has so many features that are reminiscent of the era that it was built. We have the exposed ceilings, the open layout, and then some modest updates like that kitchen, which isn't perfectly authentic to the character of the home, but somehow is very fitting. There are quite a few details in this home that could easily be overlooked. I love the space that we just passed through with the clear story windows that were sitting above the closet doors, what up that's me, and in the living room what is easily missed is that there is a Murphy bed built into the wall which is perfect for a home of this size to increase the functionality in case whoever decides to have a guest sleepover. Now, outside we're going to take a look at this deck that runs about the length of the back of the home with incredible canyon views and city-scape views ahead of that. So what I really love about this property even though there is no notable architect attached to it that at least not that I know of, it does have a lot of details that are reminiscent of a noitura or a pierconing. You have the clear story windows, those beautiful ceilings and those walls of glass sitting in the back of the home opening up to those beautiful vistas. The outdoor space here is so lovely landscape beautifully and you do have enough room to park your car behind the gated down stairs is where we're going to find that the attached office which is stunning to say the least it is covered in wood and it is the perfect workspace and they set it up beautifully so that you could work side by side with somebody else. I mean it is just a really lovely add-on to increase the functionality of the home. I think this property is a rare gem and definitely the most exceptional one bedroom that I've ever shown on my page. If you enjoyed this home, we posted and share with someone that would like it too.
